Overview

Here's the deal: make sure you enjoy the waterpark, where you can travel by train (yes, train!) and the views - we’re not joking, everywhere in this hotel, there's an amazing vista of the Med! Scran's well covered at the buffet; spoilt for choice doesn’t even cover it. And for technophiles check out the app where you can book your meals and find out all about the entertainment. There's a huge open-air area where you can find the main pool, the bar and the entertainment in the evening!

Please be aware that this property is unfortunately not suitable for guests with walking difficulties, as access to the complex is via a series of steps.

• The Fodele Beach & Water Park Holiday Resort has a tonne of stylish rooms with a splash of colour including Standard Rooms, Family Rooms, Sun Rooms, Maisonettes, Suites, and even Beach-view Rooms that are exclusive for On the Beach!

• All rooms in the main accommodation area are equipped with:

Fodele Beach & Water Park Holiday Resort is named after an artist fondly named ‘El Greco’ who moved to Barcelona and the village of Fodele which is steeped in culture and is ten minutes into the mountains.

Food & Drink

• Elia - Greek Restaurant - with incredible views of the bay, this restaurant has Greek classics and locally paired wines

• Basilikos - All Day Dining - this is open from 7.00am (but can open earlier on request) and offers breakfast lunch and dinner with food for everyone from local Cretan to themed food and lots of sweet treats, oh and self-serve ice cream. Stop it! There's also a kid's area if you want to leave your little ones and enjoy your meal by yourselves!

• Ambrosia - Italian Restaurant - this is a stylish Italian overlooking the main plaza that you can book with the app, serving a traditional Italian menu and wines. Our personal favourite is the gnocchi! 

• “F” Snack Bar Restaurant - when we say this is the best snack bar, we’re not lying. Open from 10.00 am 'til 6 pm with indoor and outdoor dining, you can help yourself to snacks all day. It has everything from chips to salads to wraps, plus you can help yourself to as much ice cream as you’d like AND there is a coffee shop inside for all your caffeine needs too!

• Frankies Beach Club - open from 10.00 am 'til 6 pm with the friendliest staff serving you a range of hot and cold drinks to enjoy on the beach. They also do fruit, wraps and sandwiches if you don’t want to make the trip to the snack bar

• Breeze Bar - this is the place to go for your pre-dinner cocktail, overlooking the main plaza and the beach, with lots of places to sit. They serve a mean margarita!

• Starlight Bar - this is perfect for anyone wanting to stay by the main pool at night or watch the entertainment in the evening.

Sports & Entertainment

• Waterpark  - Sitting at the top of the resort, this fun-filled park features seven exciting slides all fit to satisfy any thrill-seeking tendencies that creep up on you!

• Mini-golf - Situated right next to the waterpark, you can catch a train up and play from 10.30 am 'til 6 pm, who's keeping score?

• Tennis courts - situated opposite the waterpark you can easily book a game using the Fodele app if you fancy a competitive game during your stay.

• Fitness Facilities - there is plenty of exercise equipment in here to make sure you're looking your best and you deffo aren't skipping out on leg day! (16+ only)

• Daily activities-  On arrival the staff will let you know about the activities to expect, if you want to use the app this will give you a daily breakdown of what’s on, from mini-discos to performances. There are also Beach BBQs on occasion!

• Wellness Facilities - if you wanna feel well, deffo come here for holistic therapies and facial and body treatments to help you wash away all your stress-head tendencies!

• Kids' club - The kids' club is open every day from 10.30 am and is full of games, books and more, and has a playground opposite. The staff are lovely and welcoming and form part of the mini disco - the kids absolutely love them!

• Water Sports - down on Fodele Beach there are plenty of activities to get your heart racing including jet skiing, wakeboarding, banana boats and tonnes more! (extra charges may apply)
