Charming hotel, super helpful owner and staff, a great stay. Had the best night sleep away from my husband and kids in the honeymoon suite! Local food recommendations were great and the location is perfect for walking around to everything in the area.

Charming + charmed

We stayed in this lovely independent hotel for 10 night in September. The town is beautiful, and the hotel had a comfortable suite with good facilities and was perfectly located by the lake.

It is a fairly basic hotel in that it has no restaurant and the rooms are also quite basic, but the staff were lovely and we wanted for nothing.

A special mention for the concierge, Angel, who went out of his way to help us, with information on travelling around using the buses as we weren’t driving, and places worth visiting. 

When I became ill on our last full day he was so helpful in sorting out a taxi to the hospital, and when my wife came back to collect a couple of things I needed he gave her a lift back so she wouldn’t have to walk in the heat or wait for another taxi. 

He is a real asset to the hotel and such a lovely man, I hope the owners appreciate him.

A perfect spot.

I stayed at this wonderful hotel for 7 nights.  the cleanliness was perfect and the staff very friendly.  the position of the hotel is perfect, you can see the harbor from the hotel room.  although I had emotions with the noise, the windows insulate well and nothing can be heard from outside.

Accommodation in the port

Super location right on the water, and right near shopping, and the men at reception were both helpful and kind… 
However, our room had no view of ANYTHING even though we were right next to the water.💧
The room had a few problems: as a three-person suite it was just a regular room with a cot added. It was very tight for the three of us, The toilet 🚽 never worked properly throughout our stay. We had a small terrace that we had to share with two other rooms on one side, and the other side of the room faced out to the common area, so it was quite loud at night.
At least it was fairly cheep 🤔
