Overview

An attractive hotel and bungalows complex situated in the peaceful location of Gargadoros, raised from the sea front to offer spectacular views of the town of Aghios Nikolaos and the Mirabello Bay. The hotel is built in a traditional architectural style of the island consisting of low buildings whilst supporting the conservation of Cretan nature. The hotel is perfectly situated between two fully organized beaches offering all facilities and a large variety of water sports. The lively resort of Aghios Nikolaos is within a short walking distance from the hotel and offers plenty of shopping opportunities and an interesting nightlife.

Rooms

The Miramare Hotel consists of 65 sea view rooms in the main building, 65 sea view bungalows, 13 luxury bungalows with panoramic view, six studios, five maisonettes and six suites. The village complex also offers 66 bungalows situated directly on a small pebbly beach having either sea view, pool view or garden view. Accommodation is a combination of the charm culminating from the traditional island architecture co-existing with the comforts of modern facilities.

Food & Drink

There is the Bellavista, the main restaurant (fully air-conditioned) and the Aeolos, pool restaurant and bar. Gentlemen are kindly requested to wear long trousers in all Food and Beverage departments during the evening. Early dinners as well as special vegetarian and diabetic meals are available on request.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:30-10:00), lunch (13:00-14:00) and dinner (18:30-21:00). Breakfast & dinner are served buffet style in the main restaurant and lunch at the main bar. During lunch and dinner table water, soft drinks, local draught wine and beer are offered. Hot & cold snacks, as well as house ice cream are available at the main bar between 11:00 & 16:00. Tea & coffee time is from 16:00-17:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks are served from 11:00-23:00. Last call in all bars is at 22:45.

Sports & Entertainment

In addition to the fully equipped Gym room the hotel has a floodlit tennis court where beginners can have lessons from an experienced coach with an extra charge. A variety of sea sports and activities are available at the two fully organized beaches on both sides of the hotel. Has to be remembered that some of the above mentioned facilities and activities are open air, therefore the availability and operations are related to weather conditions and the discretion of the Management. For evening entertainment are provided piano nights at the PALM main bar most evenings, from May to September, and a weekly special event night at Aeolos Pool Restaurant with entertainment music and dance show (supplement charge). The hotel games room is free of charge and offers table tennis, board games i.e. chess, backgammon and playing cards. Billiard room is available with charge.

Chargeable Extras

Bottled beer, bottled wine and brand name spirits as well as all items (food & drinks) outside the AI-hours are available at a charge. Drinks offered to non hotel clients will be charged at full catalogue prices.
