It has taken weeks for me to write this after the distress this holiday caused. 7 days to long. No honest reviews written before I booked To call this a budget hotel is wrong. My holiday cost more than £2200 for a week. NOT GOOD. Don’t spend your hard earned money on this disgusting place. The resort is a rat run between corfu town and the next resort. Please don’t go.Reception not obvious, no signs. No lift,  two flights of stairs with your 23kgs suitcase.What can I say the room we bought was not what we got. Small with a desk, and bed with beside tables. Lived out of suitcase, would not use the wardrobe! Bathroom tiny, you bash your elbows on the shower when using the sink. Corridor lifeless not even one picture on the wall down to the pool. Wow! Green scum was a nice touch, loungers soaked and covered in black mould. A strong smell of raw sewage was constant. The dinning room didn’t look like the photos advertised. I thought it was the staff canteen. It’s the only hotel I have seen with a microwave to reheat food. Dirty mops at the front door. Guests should not see any of this. Asked for tea/coffee for my room. One of my must haves when booking. That was meet with utter annoyance . The coffee cups in my room remained dirty all week. I was making the bed. Had to wear my flip flops in the room floor not touched all week. But the icing on the cake was to discover a soap from previous guest with bits on it. Then on our last night a survey to ask how they did? I didn’t fill it in as I would just upset me even more.

Stay well clear.

Fantastic. I can honestly say that we WILL be returning. A simple, spotlessly clean, friendly hotel. Excellent food, lovely atmosphere. Most importantly, the sweetest, most genuine and endlessly helpful staff and management. They made our holiday special. Nothing was too much trouble, they constantly go the extra mile, even so far as to offer to drive us to the beach themselves as we have mobility problems. I can't offer enough gratitude to each and every one of you.
If you want luxury and fake smiles, go somewhere else. If you want decent rooms, comfy beds, tasty food and a few cheeky cocktails, all served up with genuine smiles and good humour............this is the place to be.

Simply lovely

We had a great time at Amalia hotel, staff were amazing and so was the food. Really nice pool area and good location for getting to and back to Corfu town on the bus if needed. 

It was a really nice family run feel to the hotel, nothing was too much to ask for, also they have 5 very friendly cats that treated us in the morning and purred on my lap whilst having evening drinks. 

Would definitely stay again and great value for money.

Amazing staff and great value

A wonderful gem of a hotel. Excellent food, staff and room . Very comfortable beds.
Nothing too much for staff- hair dryer, kettle extra pillows all sorted quickly and without fuss.
Has the feeling of an extended family run place rather than a faceless corporate hotel, see ikon for details!
Great value and guests, happy to chat or leave you alone.
Great evening entertainment. Dance you get more out of the evening! Go Zorba.
