Nice Excelsior – Chateaux & Hotels Collection

A nice hotel with a good location. 2 min from the station, about 15 min down to the Promenade des Anglais. Room good size with a small balcony. Wooden floor , which I prefer.   Comfortable bed. Nice touch with free coffee/tea, cakes and sweets in the lounge.

Nice hotel, good location

This hotel is clean, fantastic location for the Railway Station & added bonus of free coffee to drink on the terrace at the front of the hotel. 
The room furniture we found was impractical with only one narrow, short wardrobe, not much good for ladies who packed maxi dresses. The tiny dressing table was nowhere near the mirror & the plug sockets were all behind furniture so were not easily accessible. There were no bedside tables but a dark ‘cubby hole’ which was the bottom half of the wardrobe with a cutout next to the bed. I think the design was more theme based than practical. The room was quiet & the beds comfortable & the bathroom very clean but once again lacked anywhere to put toiletries except bending down to the shelf under the sink unit.

Clean, quiet but rooms impractical

Our stay at this hotel was excellent! It is a lovely place with colorful and comfortable spaces indoor and out, and a very good breakfast buffet as well. The location was very convenient for catching an Uber ride or walking to the train station. We especially appreciate the kindness and helpfulness of Dragan at the front desk each afternoon. I'd like to also mention Jean Claude in the evenings and Alexandre in the mornings -- everyone we interacted with was kind and courteous. Thank you Nice Excelsior!

Great pick for a stay in Nice

My sister and I truly enjoyed our week stay at this hotel.  We especially liked the professionalism of the staff namely Alexander, Emanuela, and Dragan.  Thank you so much for making our stay relaxing and of course full of tourist adventures.  We hope to see you all again soon.
