Amazing hotel very well located, 10 mins walk both too beach and railway. Newly renovated, lovely large rooms with comfy beds and the most fluffy towels! Silent area, absolutely no noise at night. 
Good breakfast, and helpful, nice staff. A bonus with swedish resepsionist! 
Will sertainly stay here again.

Lovely Hôtel!

We stayed here for 3 nights and so wished we hadn’t.We arrived earlier than check in and was delighted when Eric the manager told us our room was ready.We entered our room and it was absolutely filthy hadn’t been cleaned and when I complained I was offered another room without a balcony.I booked the room for the balcony so that didn’t work.He was extremely unprofessional and very rude the way he handled matters like we were a burden.Upon checking in money was taken straight away for parking and our service dog which I found odd as normally it’s a pre authorisation on the card and the bill paid upon checking out.Service dogs are exempt from fees in all other hotels when I mentioned this I got a very rude response from Eric “not us!”Our room was cleaned but was still full of dust we just spent most of our time out of it.Nuts were on the balcony and quite frankly we we’re charged 30 euros a day for our dog a dirty room with nuts on the balcony were very dangerous and can be fatal if a dog eats them its outrageous.Then our first night we were woken up on the hotel phone at midnight saying we’d ordered a pizza then they apologised wrong room.I mentioned this to Eric the next morning as not great being woken up and his attitude again was rude arrogant and said not the hotels fault.Well it was an internal call reception called our room so it was the hotels fault not ours and should not have happened.It was a very unwelcoming cold hostile experience.The room if it had been clean was very nice but no customer service it’s like being in an apartment block with a very unhelpful rude manager.Never would we return.

Terrible would never return…

Sharing the pool facilities with another hotel is absolutely ridiculous (don’t trust the picture). A small pool and barely any sunbeds on top of that. Only reason we chose this hotel qas the pool… left disappointed though! Paying a lot of money to not being able to use the pool or sun beds..  Also - why is a hot tub taking up space for a summer resort?

For being a basic rooftop bar the menu was very pricey.  

Rooms were ok but barely any soap was given to us and overall dirty dirty balconies.

Disappointing

I am very found of this hotel. The beds are very good, the pillows are fluffy. The reception is open 24h and wellcomed me and my sister very warm, they took our luggage into the room like in a 5 stars hotel. The quiet room (there was nothing to here) was huge, renovated and AC was very good. You can put it off, if you want, but in august the humidity is sometimes annoying, so you need it. In the neighbourhood (street Verdi, next to the hotel) there is a carrefour shop with yoghurt, fruits and everything you need. The soap, shampoo and body lotion is from Phytomer and very good quality. In 5 minutes you are at the sea side, which is near to Negresco hotel, a very good place to swim in the evening and come back in the room. 
It is some streets distance from the gare feroviare train station. I was so happy to visit Monaco, Grasse. The station of tram 2 is near, you can get very easy to Chimiez, where the museum Matisse and Marc Chagall are.  Near the hotel Gounod you have icecream, restaurants. It was my dream vacation. Rarely happens that I can get sleep 7 nights in a hotel. We where also on the rooftop at the swimming pool. I will come back as soon as possible. I recommend this hotel. It is worth paying for a stay in an boutique palace, art deco renovated.
