Overview

The hotel offers luxury holiday accommodation close to the ancient city of Paphos. The adjacent ancient Tombs of the Kings provided the design inspiration for the Elysium. Different elements of the resort suggest different spirits, ages and energies including the mysticism of Byzantium, the opulence of Venice and the vitality of the Mediterranean. The resort is intended to offer the visitor a series of experiences that contemplate the rich history of the island.

The Elysium features a wide range of restaurants and bars to meet the most demanding tastes. There are five on-site restaurants located within the hotel offering a great variety of dishes. Lemonia Piazza (with all day dining), Epicurean international restaurant (with daily buffet and à la carte menus), Bacco (serving tastes of Tuscany with fine wine selection), O’Shin pan-Asian cuisine, Mediterraneo al fresco by the sea (serving Cyprus and Mediterranean specialties and fresh fish), bar Astria (with indoor/terrace seating), cafe Occidental and Mare Nostrum pool bar.

The resort offers a multi-level swimming pool with hydro massage and fountains, a sunken pool, an indoor pool (heated in winter) and a hydro pool. There is also a children’s playground with two pools and a slide, kids club (ages 3-12), two tennis courts, health spa with gym, aromatherapy, sauna and steam room. In addition, the resort offers a dive centre, gift shop, jewellers, perfumery, library, hair and beauty salon, games room, multi-media room, laundry and valet service and babysitting (on request).
