Safe to say you'll be living the hy(att) life over here. There's a three-tiered swimming pool so you can hop between them depending on what you're fancying, as well as sunset wine-tasting, and mixology classes. Not all the activities are about cocktails don't worry, there's also beachfront yoga and pilates that'll have you feeling way more zen. But speaking of cocktails, all the bars have happy hour. You can start at Palms Beach Bar at 17:30, then by 18:30 hop over to Alfresco Bar +Bites. Maybe don't get too sloshed before dinner, because Ruinas del Mar is so delish, you won't want to miss its Caribbean and Meditterean delights.

Food & Drink

• Ruinas del Mar - two words to describe this restaurant. Immaculate vibes. It's sat by a water feature, fairy lights decor, a menu full of Italian, Caribbean and seafood delights, and handcrafted cocktails. We're not finished. It also has live music from Tuesday - Saturday

• Palms Beachside Grill - sat on the beach, you'll have that ocean breeze to wake you up, and be hit in the face with palm trees (not really, but they are very close). There's a delish breakfast, even with breakfast cocktails (why not, you're on your jollies) and lunch

• Palms Beach Bar - we would park our backside and stay here all day if we could, with beachy views, tacos, burgers and nachos on the menu, and cocktails all day. Hint hint, come between 17:30 and 18:30. Did someone say happy hour?

• Alfresco Bar + Bites - the perfect spot to kickstart your evening, with little nibbles and a menu full of signature and classic cocktails. Another hint, come between 18:30 and 19:30. You should have caught on by now. Also features live music between 18:00 - 22:00

• Balashi Bar & Grill - offering poolside bites and speciality cocktails created by the bartenders, we recommend the Frose. Frose All Day

• Shoco Coffee Bar & Market - open from 06:00 for those early risers (we know how jet lag is) for your caffeine fix, baked goods and ice cream. There are even airport-approved lunch boxes to take on your journey home

Sports & Entertainment

• Three-Level Pool Complex - a three-tier swimming pool so you can hop into whichever one tickles your fancy, there's one with a slide and waterfalls if you don't want a standard swim, an adults-only pool for some peace and quiet, and a pool for the front-crawlers wanting to get a decent swim in

• StayFit Gym - fully equipped with everything you need for a sweaty, holiday workout

• ZoiA Spa - with so many treatments on offer we couldn't possibly list them all. But here are a few, a calm therapeutic massage, the Island Breeze with pineapple and coconut scrub, and the signature hydra-facial

• Hyatt Regency Casino - get your lucky hat on and head to the casino, with slot machines and poker tables

• Camp Hyatt - the little rascals can head to Camp Hyatt for a day of fun activities, all whilst you chill by the pool with a mojito
