Food & drink

At the Sol Dunas, every meal is a feast. The main restaurant, Restaurant Spices is an international buffet-style affair, serving daily meals with shows cooking and a kids’ corner. Alternatively, guests can visit the Restaurant Sol Grille for barbeque cuisine or the Restaurant il Terrazzo, for Italian food. Both of these restaurants have buffet and à la carte options. Odissey Bar in the lobby is the place to go for drinks and great atmosphere into the small hours, and there are also the Sal, Maio and Fogo Bars by the pools, offering refreshments and shows during swimming pool opening hours.

Sports & entertainment

The resort offers an impressive four freshwater swimming pools, including three pools for adults and a children’s pool with fun water features and fantastic slides. Sports facilities include a full-equipped fitness club, a beach volleyball court, a tennis court, a multi-purpose pitch and the Yhi Spa, with nine massage cabins, an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, steam bath, Finnish sauna and a variety of treatments. Yoga, Pilates, paddlesurf, aquagum, aquadance, Zumba and waterpolo sessions are also available. A large, atmospheric amphitheatre hosts professional shows, entertainment and themed parties in the evenings, and the hotel also offers FREE Wi-Fi in communal areas. Local charges apply to some amenities and activities.

For children, there is also a playground as well as a mini disco every night from 19:30 in the theatre. The hotel also offers an extensive kids club programme that consists of Baby Club (ages 8 months – 4 years), Mini Club Kids & Co (ages 5 – 12) and Teens Club (ages 13 – 17).
