• Promenade - you can tuck into tasty buffet breakfast and dinner at the main restaurant complete with live cooking stations and even themed evenings a couple times a week to spice things up a bit

• Botanico - enjoy Spanish a la carte options for dinner as well as delish bites for lunchtime meals, reservations are required here too!

• Bars - The Palm, Lido and Onyx offer unique spots to settle in for a cheeky tipple or five as well as some light nibbles (opening times vary by season)

Sports & Entertainment

• Swimming - take the plunge into any of the four swimming pools on offer (or dip when it comes to the kiddies pool) and then dry yourself off and get your tanning time in on the sun loungers, or hop on a sunken sun lounger and forget about the drying off part, you tan more when you're wet anyway!

• Gym - if you're all about keeping fit then you've got a free to use gym right on-site, as well as plenty of other group fitness activities if you don't like going it alone (make sure you bring your sport shoes, they're mandatory!)

• Activities - there's a whole programme of almost daily entertainment to keep you occupied while you're on your jollies as well as live music and shows several times a week too!

• RIU Party - head to the Riu Gran Canaria to party till you drop, it's only one night a week so better make it count (transfer included)

• For the Kids - they can mosey on over to the kids' clubs suitable for 4-7 yrs and 8-12 yrs, or they can zoom around the playground if they like to make their own fun! Gives you a chance to nurse last nights antics!
