Overview

You'll find this hotel in Golden Sands. No, we're not just making stuff up now - that's actually what this resort is called. Says it all, really. You don't need us to tell you there's a cracking beach on your doorstep, but we will anyway: it's right on your doorstep, and it's a cracker. But, there's also a coffee shop on site where you can get your caffeine kick or cool off with an iced-tea, two pools to dip into (with mini slides for the little tinkers), and - if that's not enough - if you book Ultra All Inclusive, you'll have free rein of the waterpark at Grifid Bolero. Can't beat a good old splash about.

• Main Restaurant - this buffet venue is the star of the show, with show-cooking, meat-carving, fresh pizza and pasta stations - the works! Dine in or out, the choice is yours.

• Snack Restaurant - tucked away next to the 'quiet' pool, this place is fully-stocked with sandwiches, hotdogs, pizza, pancakes and more - perfect for a light lunch, a second lunch or a between-meals snack. When on all inclusive...

• Bulgarian a la carte - with a design based on a traditional Bulgarian House, this is the place to be for traditional Bulgarian grub

• Asian a la carte - a cosy, modern restaurant with tons of Asian specialties on offer, plus kid-friendly menus for the little ones

• Italian a la carte - pizza, homemade pasta - can't go far wrong there. Even the kids will find something they like at this place

• Lobby bar - this bar is 'two-faced', and we don't mean it's been saying stuff behind our back. It's based indoors, but there's a hatch that opens out onto the pool area too, which basically means you don't have to keep pitter-pattering inside with wet feet every time you want a refill

• Salon Bar - where the action happens - stop by for a show and an evening tipple

• Coffee shop - a kitsch open-air bar with coffee, cakes, pastries and iced-tea on the menu. You can sit right under the trees, and the décor is totes Insta-worthy, which we're pretty sure is a good thing. Right?

Sports & Entertainment

• Two swimming pools, including a kids' pool with mini waterslides

• Waterpark for Ultra All Inclusive guests - you're only a FREE shuttle-ride away* from the twisting, turning waterslides at Grifid Bolero, which you'll have full access to

• Tons of sports - throw some shapes at aerobics, bend yourself silly at Pilates, try your hand at a bit of basketball or football, or keep it laidback with a spot of darts or table tennis

• Fit & Fun Zone - being honest, we're not totally sure where the 'fun' part comes into this, but it is a gym with some pretty incredible views, so if you like your treadmill run overlooking some nice scenery, you'll be made up

• Wellness centre - treat yourself to a pamper with a sauna sesh, a massage, a dip in the hydromassage bath or a traditional Hamam
