Overview

Listen up. All those other hotels we tell you are right on the beach - forget about it. This place is about as on the beach as you can get. We're talking, you could be eating croquettes in the restaurant one minute, feeling the sand between your toes the next. Even the pool is practically on the sand. Not literally though, because...well, that wouldn't really work. Plus, there's a kids' club to pack the youngsters off to, and enough dining options to keep the whole fam happy. The BBQ ribs at the food truck. IYKYK.

• Literally on the beach (peep the pics if you don't believe us!)

• Varna International Airport is around 1 hour and 35 minutes away, by car (unless you fancy walking, then it's about 20 hours. But we don't recommend that)

Rooms

• Rooms at this place are like little pockets of sunshine - literally, thanks to the yellow-painted walls. Don't worry, though - it's a soothing, mellow yellow. Not an American mustard yellow.

Food & Drink

• Main restaurant - think a buffet where you can feed your face with traditional Bulgarian dishes, plus international faves and stuff for the kids, too. Eat inside or out on the terrace if you fancy something al fresco

• Snack bar - for when you don't even want to leave the pool area to get your lunch or snack fill. Pop by for sandwiches, burgers, chips, salads, fresh fruit and ice cream - plus loads of drink options

• Food truck - this place literally has a bit of everything, from gourmet cupcakes to smoky BBQ ribs. We did say everything...

• Lobby bar - you'll find this place tucked next to reception, serving coffees and cocktails, as well as a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Oh, and there's FREE Wi-Fi here, so it's the perfect place to post all your Insta pics after dinner.

Sports & Entertainment

• Outdoor pool - overlooking the beach, with a large main section and a separate shallow area for the kids

• The beach - it's literally on your doorstep, so might as well make the best of it! It's kitted out with free loungers and parasols if that's your thing, otherwise, it's just a great place to walk off lunch

• Kids' club - there are slides, crawling tunnels and mini colouring tables outside, plus an activity programme run by the hotel staff, with sports, talent shows and crafts, so you can enjoy a bit of peace and quiet in the sun and the kids can have a blast. Win-win!

• Game corner - as well as table tennis and pool, there's also a selection of board games on offer here, so you can try your hand at a spot of Scrabble or Monopoly

• Fitness centre - if you fancy a workout, this place is decked out with all kinds of equipment - from weights and cycling machines to cross-trainers. Plus, it overlooks the pool, so you'll have a pretty epic view while you get a sweat on.

• Spa - treat yo'self to a massage or beauty treatment by the pool or beach. It doesn't get much more zen than that.

• Entertainment - unwind after dinner with a show that'll keep the whole fam occupied, including comedy nights, folklore dancing, quizzes, discos, competitions and beach parties
