Overview

Alua Illa de Menorca is in an excellent location for a quiet family holiday. With some beautiful small coves nearby to explore and plenty of entertainment in the evenings, it's the perfect place to spend quality time together and make some wonderful memories.

The closest beach, Cala Alcaufar, is a 17-minute walk away.

Distance from Airport

Menorca Airport is around 20 minutes' drive from the hotel.

Rooms

All rooms are bright and airy, decorated with ocean blues. Room types include Doubles with Garden Views, Doubles with Sea Views, Club Suite Swim Up Garden View/Sea View. All of them have air conditioning, a furnished balcony or terrace, tea and coffee, hair dryer and cosmetic mirror, satellite TV, telephone, rain shower, safety deposit box and a mini bar (local charge however welcome bottle of water on arrival). Baby cots are available on request and will count as one person in the room and not in addition to the maximum occupancy. Food & Drink

At Alua Illa de Menorca you can enjoy a variety of bars and eateries, from the Terra Cafe Restaurant, serving buffet-style dishes with al fresco dining on the terrace. There's also the Kentia Sea Club Restaurant which is a relaxed sea front dining spot. To keep you satisfied during the day the Pool Snack Bar serves a range of snacks and drinks. Guests can also enjoy visits to Alua's sister hotels, to enjoy dinners at their restaurants.

Please be aware that some restaurants have a dress code, so leave your string vests and cozzies behind and throw on some of your best holiday garms.

Sports & Entertainment

There's an array of fun activities and entertainment available, there are two swimming pools at the hotel, including one for children, as well as sunbathing areas, a poolside snack bar, supermarket, boutique and a medical centre.

It's easy to get around to the other hotels for a bite to eat on the little train that runs every 20 minutes (during the summer season). There is an inclusive sports programme available for all hotel guests, a wide range of sports is also available in S'Algar, including tennis, table tennis, excursions, bowls, golf practice area, cycling, etc. Also, at the PADI certified Diving Centre, you'll find snorkelling and kayaks. Daytime and evening entertainment is run by an international animation team, including a mini club (4-10yrs), kids' club (11-15yrs), yoga, water-gymnastics, aerobics, shows, live music, flamenco, cabaret and more! There is a cultural programme including introduction to bridge, gastronomy, wine tasting and cocktail making classes!
