The Iberostar Selection Albufera Playa is in a fantastic location and is a great pick for couples, groups of friends and families with grown-up kids. The sister hotel next door (Iberostar Selection Albufera Park) is the place to be for families with little ones, and you can still enjoy the facilities of both hotels! The hotel's best bits are its rooftop swimming pool, wide range of food and drink options and close proximity to Albufera Nature Park for walks and bike rides.

The hotel is located right on the Mallorcan coast, with direct access to Playa de Muro - voted Spain's best beach in 2022!

Palma de Mallorca airport is around 60km away from the hotel, which is about a 50-minute drive.

Rooms

Choose from Double Rooms with sea or garden views, Interconnecting Double Rooms or Suites. All rooms come with air con, a mini bar (extra charge), safe (extra charge), hairdryer, twin beds, a sofa bed and a balcony or terrace.

If you choose a Suite, you can enjoy extra comforts like a king-sized bed and a whirlpool bath. Or for the ultimate stay, opt for a Star Prestige Double Room or Suite to get the VIP treatment, with a personalised check-in service, cosy bathrobes and slippers in your room, two types of pillows to choose from and, best of all, exclusive access to the rooftop terrace area with an extra swimming pool.

Food & Drink

There are 4 restaurants spread across the two hotels, so you've got plenty of choice for dinner. The buffet restaurant is newly renovated, serving international dishes with live show cooking and there are three other themed restaurants: Spanish, Greek and Mexican! We've heard excellent things about the seafood at the Greek restaurant.

If anyone gets peckish in between meals, you can always head to the Star Café or the ice cream parlour.

Sports & Entertainment

The Iberostar Selection Albufera Playa is part of a two-hotel resort, meaning you practically get two stays for the price of one! When you stay here, you can use all the facilities of the sister hotel next door: Iberostar Selection Albufera Park.

In the outdoor complex there is a swimming pool, a children's paddling area with slides and a sun terrace with loungers and parasols. There's an additional swimming pool on one of the hotel roofs and, of course, the exclusive Star Prestige area, on a different rooftop with gorgeous sea views! Leisure options also include table tennis, beach volleyball, billiards, aerobics and archery. An entertainment programme is also on offer to guests (depending on the season) with live shows on stage in the evening.
