Playa del Moro

Overview

The Playa de Moro hotel is situated in the east of Mallorca, 68 km from the capital city Palma de Mallorca, and lies directly on the sea front between two pedestrian zones within the bay of Cala Millor. Cala Millor is one of the most developed tourist zones in the whole of Mallorca. Its tourist growth began at the end of the 50s, beginning of the 60s and continues. It is presently one of the most well known and preferred destinations of the European tourist.

From the hotel’s rooms guests can enjoy the wonderful blue ocean and the magnificent views; to the south, Punta de Amer, to the North, Costa des Pins, the largest protected ecological area of Mallorca. Junior Suites have in addition a dressing gown and a large lounge area.

The hotel’s restaurant is situated on the first floor and has a spectacular terrace; guests can enjoy the fantastic view of the promenade which separates the hotel from the beach. Guests can have breakfast while watching the sunrise, enjoy show cooking, or benefit from the two gala dinners a week provided which offer a choice of Mediterranean, Asiatic, Caribbean, with buffet or waiter service. Its Mediterranean gastronomy provides international and local specialities. The restaurant offers to guests on Half Board basis to change dinner for lunch.

Facilities include board games, outdoor pool and indoor pool with Jacuzzi, beauty and spa centre, Turkish bath, sauna and two tennis courts (in Castell de Mar hotel, just next door). The hotel also offers a weekly activity programme that includes live music, shows, special events (monthly) and excursions. Less than half hour away guests will find five golf courses.
