Take your pick from a range of bright and spacious guestrooms, as well as some super-fancy suites if you fancy going all out. Standard facilities include air con (of course), an LCD TV (with on-demand movies and video games), a hairdryer, a mini fridge, a coffee maker, a clock radio with an MP3 connection, an iron, high-speed internet access, a safe and a telephone.

Just so you know, not all room types come with a balcony or view.

Where do we even start? If you're looking for a laidback beach restaurant, then Carambola is your best bet, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner every single day with some pretty fab views of the Gulf of Mexico. You can also enjoy poolside bites and frozen drinks from Sand Bar & Grill, sample a Mexican menu at the Spotted Donkey Cantina, or unwind with light lunches and appetisers from Coasters Lounge. For drinks, you can get your caffeine fix from the on-site Starbucks, or try a range of drinks from Tommy's Tiki Bar, right on the sand. This one's open from 11AM until sunset every day, so it's perfect for a daytime tipple.

The beach is definitely the star of the show at this hotel, with comfy cabanas and sun loungers so you can make the most of those sea views. There's also an outdoor pool where you can take a dip, a fitness centre where you can work up a sweat, and a spa centre specialising in hot stone and lava shell massages. We promise it's more relaxing than it sounds.
