All-inclusive holidays to Salou

All Inclusive Landing page banners

Salou is to the holiday world what Rachel McAdams is to the acting industry: an icon. But also, versatile with a capital V. It's got beaches big and small, Barcelona within driving distance for the perfect day trip, and PortAventura World is right there for all that riding sliding fun which is guaranteed to earn you some serious parent points with the tots and teens. Honestly, though? Salou's all inclusive hotels have so much going on that you won't even need to leave (until it's time to go home, but we don't talk about such things around here). Not when you've got poolside cocktails, pirate ship pools and just enough sports to tire the kids out for bedtime. Whether you're after a last minute break or you're planning ahead - let's get cracking.

Our favourite all-inclusive hotels in Salou

You don't need us to sit here and tell you how good holidays to Spain are, but we'll do it anyway - 'cause we flippin' love it. If you're looking for classic beach holiday vibes - and let's be honest, why else would you be here - these hotels in Salou won't disappoint. Add to the mix tons of food and drink options, activities for the whole fam and cocktails on tap (looking at you, Best Negresco), and you'll probably start to see why these are some of our faves 🥇

Family-friendly all-inclusive hotels in Salou

If you've got kids who think regular pool and beach days are an absolute snooze fest, then first of all - we're sorry, and second of all - holidays to Salou have your back. For starters, PortAventura World Theme Park is already on your doorstep here, and if you stay at PortAventura Hotel El Paso, you'll have unlimited access and discounts on express wristbands and passes. Sounds like more beach for your buck if you ask us. (You didn't, but our Marketing manager said we need to promote our campaigns more, so there you go.) Even without the theme park, these hotels are all full of stuff to keep the kids entertained. Expect mini golf tournaments, poolside snacks for when the post-swim hanger kicks in, mini clubs for shipping them off to when you can't take another rendition of Baby Shark. That last one sold it to you, didn't it? Time to grab one of these cheap holidays and dash off on your next family jaunt, then...

All-inclusive hotels in Salou for couples

Whether you're looking for something that's strictly no-kids, or just somewhere beachy and chilled for the two of you, we've got a few hotels up our sleeve. Well, more than a few actually - we've just had to narrow it down to a few top picks. If we had our way, this page would be at least 10x longer, but our web developers weren't keen on that idea. The point is - you can do it all at these hotels. Slurp cocktails on the terrace. Wander along the beach. Race each other to the pool to see who can make the biggest splash. Ah, romance 🥰

What airport do you fly to in Salou?

You'll fly into Reus Airport, which is pretty close to the beach (so you'll feel that sea breeze from the moment you land). There are a few places to grab a bite (and a beer), but this airport is only small - so don't expect to be spending up in the shops and restaurants. Which is probably a good thing...

How long is the journey from Salou to Barcelona?

Trains run regularly from Salou to Barcelona (around nine times a day), and it takes 1 hour and 25 minutes to get to the other side. Alternatively, if you hop in a car or have an organised minibus transfer, it'll take you roughly the same amount of time - so it depends how you're most comfortable travelling.

Does Salou have good nightlife?

It's no Magaluf, but Salou definitely has a decent night scene. Avenida Carles Buigas is where you'll find the best of the bunch, but honestly - if you wander around the centre, you're sure to find something. Cute little cocktail bars line the coast, including ones with light-up couches and drinks topped with sparklers (hello Rock & Grill Cafe), or something more Brit-friendly, like Chaplins with its nightly tribute acts - starting with Disney classics for the kids and ending with some absolute bangers, from Little Mix to Katy Perry.

Does it rain a lot in Salou?

Salou stays sunny and warm for most of the summer season (June - September), and on the odd occasion where there's a rainshower, it'll pass quickly. October - March is when the weather is a bit more on the cooler side, and there might be a higher chance of rain.

What's Included in Salou All Inclusive Holidays?

Your all-inclusive jollies here aren't just about getting three meals a day (though brilliant Spanish buffets are definitely part of the deal). We're talking poolside cocktails, snacks whenever you fancy them, and drinks that flow as freely as the Mediterranean breeze.

Most all-inclusive hotels in Salou include breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets featuring both international favourites and gorgeous Spanish cuisine - think paella, fresh seafood, and those lovely little tapas that go down a treat. More upmarket resorts will also throw in a la carte options, and have several restaurants to choose from. But do check the specifics of the hotel you're interested in to find out exactly what they offer.

Plus, your soft drinks, local beers, house wines and cocktails are all sorted, so you can sip sangria by the pool without checking your wallet every five minutes. Again, more upmarket resorts will also include imported drinks and premium spirits, though obviously the upfront cost will reflect that.

The brilliant bit? Many resorts throw in entertainment too - from evening shows to kids' clubs that'll keep the little ones busy while you grab another drink. Some even include water sports and activities. Talk about living like proper royalty without worrying about your wallet! 🍹

Is Salou All Inclusive Worth It?

Oh, absolutely! 💯 Here's the thing - Salou's got PortAventura World literally on your doorstep, gorgeous beaches everywhere you look, and enough restaurants to keep you eating out for weeks. But here's why going all-inclusive is actually fantastic value:

You're not just paying for food and drinks (though with Spanish prices, that alone saves you a proper fortune). You're buying freedom - the freedom to have another cocktail without doing mental maths, to let the kids grab snacks whenever they're having a moment, and to actually relax without constantly reaching for your purse.

Plus, loads of Salou's all-inclusive spots are right by the beach or close to PortAventura. So you're getting location, location, location AND everything included. When you add up what you'd spend on meals, drinks, and constant snacking (because holidays make everyone hungry, don't they?), all-inclusive just makes brilliant sense. Yes, please! ✨

When's the Best Time for All Inclusive Salou Holidays?

Summer vibes are absolutely peak in Salou! 🌞 June through September is when this place really comes alive - we're talking 25°C+ sunshine, barely a cloud in the sky, and beach weather that dreams are made of. Your all-inclusive hotel pools will be buzzing, the beach bars will be pumping, and PortAventura will be running at full speed.

July and August are proper busy (brilliant energy but expect crowds), so if you fancy the same gorgeous weather with a bit more chill, June and September are absolute gems. The weather's still lovely, your all-inclusive spreads are just as good, but you'll have a bit more space to breathe.

Don't write off May or October though! The weather's still decent (around 20°C), and your all-inclusive package gives you loads of indoor fun too. Plus, some hotels do brilliant shoulder season deals - same luxury, same everything-included service, just without the peak season crowds. Clever, right? 😉
