Where to Stay in Santa Eulalia

• The town and the promenade - The obvious choice and the right one for most people. You are on the beach, the restaurant street is behind you, the marina is a five-minute walk and the bus station is in the middle of it. 🌸 Spring and Autumn (May, September and October)

The best value in the calendar and, in September's case, arguably the best weather. May sits around 23°C and everything reopens. September holds 28°C with a 24°C sea, warmer than it is in June, because the water takes the whole summer to heat up. October cools to 22°C and is the wettest month of the year, though "wettest" here means five days of rain rather than a washout.

Do not write it off. Temperatures hover around 16°C with five to seven hours of sunshine a day, which is walking and cycling weather rather than beach weather. Most beach clubs shut, plenty of restaurants stay open, and the town goes back to being a town. The sea drops to 15°C, so that is that.
