Great time again.

We stayed in number 5 and the room was absolutely beautiful and absolutely massive. And absolutely gleaming

 (i really hope we did not leave to much mess) 

Downside is had a double pram and having to lug it up the stairs was a killer but we did it.

We stayed with the lions club and they was fantastic. 
The food was good but It was the same set menu each day which was the only down side but I still can not fault it and the staff was also lovely aswell. But alls I can say is that your doing an amazing job guys keep it up 

But from the big family with a lot of children we really do appreciate what you did for us as a whole group the lions day of sunshine and westhaven  bay. Thank you all so much 
 

We really would like to return again and are currently looking at booking for next year. Thanks again guys

If I have to give points for the reception, the restaurant, the houses/apartments, then I give 11 out of 10. Oh, no, that is not possible... Then 10 out of 10 Oh, no, that is not possible either, because no one is perfect (and I am the perfect example of that) Then I give them 9.999999.... out of 10. A TOP team! TOP friendly! Everything clean and tidy, well maintained, everything is there. In one word: SUPER!

Westhaven Bay was a perfectly pleasant place to stay until the penultimate night when our room was broken into and we were robbed.  

We reported the incident at the reception desk, but staff didn't seem to care.   In fact, they tried to suggest it was our fault, that perhaps we left the door open.   We most definitely didn't as we are zealous about keeping our door locked at all times.  One of the items stolen was a pair of fully charged AirPods that could be located to a house in a residential area a few kilometers from the hotel.  We wanted to report the location of the AirPods to staff, but they weren't interested.  Clearly, nothing would be done about the incident.

During our conversation, staff at the reception suggested theft is not uncommon in the hotel.  This should not come as a surprise as hotel security is very lax.  They still use old-fashioned physical keys.  The same keys are used for different doors.  Obviously, local thieves have access to keys of some rooms in the hotel.  The hotel does not appear to have any surveillance equipment, or any means of collecting evidence to identify the thieves.

Even though Westhaven Bay has the potential to be a very nice hotel, we would strongly recommend you do not go there.  Its lax security makes the place a great target for local burglars and staff show no intention to address the problem.
