The location, services, rooms and especially the staff are all great. And I very much appreciated the affordability at a time when other hotels were overcharging. A very nice, positive experience and definitely recommended for either a large or small group.

An excellent option in the center of Barcelona.

In addition to the superb location (it really doesn't get better than staying on the Gran Via), Grupotel Gran Via offers excellent service and comfortable accommodation.

The staff on reception were friendly and helpful. Rooms were well appointed - ours had a fridge, kettle,safe, robes; the only thing it lacked was a mirror over the dressing  table. The rooms are furnished in a sleek, modern fashion. The room was spotlessly clean on arrival and well maintained each day. The bed was comfortable, and although the doors to the guest rooms were very close together, it was quiet and we slept well. Our room (406) overlooked the Gran Via, but we didn't hear any street noise.

We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel as there are lots of cafes in the vicinity, but we did enjoy drinks in the lounge in the evening.
I'll be recommending this hotel to friends visiting Barcelona.

We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. I want to mention Sabrina from the front desk who went above and beyond to make our stay there comfortable and unforgettable. She really treated us like the family members. And one more important thing: great location!
