Laguna Beach Hotel-Spa

Stayed here in June, hotel itself is alright, the best thing is the staff, all of them are very good, nothing is too much trouble for them.
The food is buffet style for all meals, with very little food freshly cooked, the food could be better and certainly could be hotter, most of the time is was cold, or like warm.
Rooms are ok, slightly dated but nothing to complain about.
The location of the hotel is the main problem, there is nothing at all by the hotel, the nearest ATM is at Belair which is a taxi ride away, as the hotel will only exchange currency for cash, no cards accepted, and most trips, taxis have to be paid in cash.
There is nothing that tells you how isolated the hotel is, and this is the one factor that would stop us returning back there.

Poor Location

Super special location, right on the beach within amazing view of the ocean & mountains...well maintained rooms and super big swimming pool right on the ocean with the best view. Restaurant Staff is good and Chef needs to be more personal with guests especially vegetarian. Overall, super stay and we got the family room, pl go for a bigger room if available. Standard rooms are gd too but not very spacious. The resort is very well kept & they have sub loungers in gd numbers for the pool as well as their own private little beach. The place is next to Jetty for boat tracel to any island. It is a little far from tourist places and peaceful for someone seeking a private and peaceful holiday. Overall, a great experience !

Laguna - A lovely resort with excellent location

Lovely smallish resort on the south east of the island in a small fishing village. Very remote definitely need a car to get around as apart from the walk to the waterfall there is nothing else to do in the area. However the hotel was lovely with spectacular views over the bay and mountains.  The rooms were rather dated however a good size and clean. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food was good and so were the cocktails. The entertainment was very hit and miss which lets this hotel down.  Worth the money paid and I would recommend.

Lovely hotel

Hotel itself very isolated location. Nothing in the vicinity, without jumping in taxis.
Rooms are in vital need of upgrade, very disappointing. Took 3 days to rectify leaking air con unit water constantly pooling on floor, making slip hazard.

No towels in our room one day which took an 90 mins to rectify, only after going down to reception 3 times.

Food hit or miss, choice very repetitive and limited.  Breakfast was fair.  Lunches mainly salads and evening dinner limited choice.

Entertainment in evenings basic with only 3 "entertainers" in a 10 night stay at hotel.  Other nights being playing prerecorded music tracks through a PA system.
