Overview

Galaxy Villas is located at the foot of the mountain Harakas, in the beautiful quaint Cretan village of Koutouloufari, only 20 minutes away from the  port of Heraklion, the capital city of Crete. It is an autonomous resort, overlooking the famous Hersonissos bay, with independent, fully-equipped villas built in typical local architecture and technique, scattered around informal, natural green gardens, olive trees, local plants and flowers. There is a fresh water swimming pool and a children’s pool as well as indoor and outdoor dining and bar area with marvelous serene views (and even a seasonal organic vegetable garden and picnic area where our guests can taste our own local produce).

Using the Hotel as a base, the inquisitive traveler can explore the beauties of the area and the island of Crete or opt for relaxed days by the sea. Alternatively, one can enjoy lazy days taking in the views by the pool or in the privacy of the garden villas.

The Galaxy Villas is a sincere family business, with the perfect mix of relaxed atmosphere, modern comfort in traditional surroundings and excellent value for money.

Just to let you know this hotel is set on a hillside location and has steps throughout the complex, for this reason, this hotel may not be well suited if you have walking difficulties.

Rooms

Each of our Villas is an autonomous, fully-equipped holiday residence, with sea, garden or mountain view, and a patio, balcony or veranda.

The Hotel and Villas are built with the local architecture in mind and natural materials including stone and locally produced wood furnishings have been utilized. The overall style and ambience is simple and stylish, in accordance with the local color and respecting tradition and the environment.

The interiors, spacious and functional, are designed to fit the needs of a family or couple. The Villas feature all modern comforts including independent air conditioning (extra charge) and television, have spacious sleeping, sitting and dining areas and a fully-equipped kitchen with appliances, utensils and dining ware.

According to their type (studio, standard, superior or bi-level maisonette), they vary in area from 40 to 70 m2, and they can sleep from 1 to 4 adults. Baby cots are offered on a complimentary basis (max 1)

Our Studios are our cosiest yet spacious villas with a manageable 40 sqm of area, still with a full kitchen and dining area and a sitting / sleeping area that can host up to two adults.

Spacious and elegant (up to 70 sqm), our Standard villas feature all necessary amenities and comforts for up to 4 adults.

With an entrance hall, fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, living area (that can be used as a second bedroom, with two full-size, 'real' single beds) and of course a full-size bedroom.

Breath taking panoramic views of the Hersonissos bay and the Aegean await those who will choose our most sought-after villas.

Spacious and elegant (up to 70 sqm), like all of our villas, they feature all necessary amenities and comforts for up to 6 adults.

With an entrance hall, fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, living area (that can be used as a second bedroom, with two full-size, 'real' single beds) and of course a full-size bedroom.

These villas feature one or two bedrooms and one or two bathrooms.

A two-level villa, with up to 70 sqm of area and a very large veranda. The Maisonette is spacious and stylish and can accommodate up to 4 adults, with great views.

One level features the kitchen and dining area and the living area (that can be used as a second bedroom, with two full-size, 'real' single beds).  The other level features the master bedroom and bathroom.

Food & Drink

Continental breakfast and à la carte Greek cuisine are offered at the indoors /outdoors bar and restaurant till late at night. All meals are prepared with our family produced organic extra virgin olive oil and local fresh produce. Anniversary or other special occasion dinners can be organized upon request on a romantic set by the pool and the magnificent views of the sea or the mountains...

Sports & Entertainment

Relax under the bright sun of Crete in the privacy and tranquillity of our swimming pool. Our bar is open all day and offers traditional snacks and meals right by your sun bed. An ideal spot to unwind throughout the day (even in the afternoon or sunset after you return from an exciting day at the beach or sightseeing) with a good book, calming music and a cocktail. The children’s pool (adjacent to the main pool) will definitely keep your precious ones occupied all day long....
