Best Western Hotel Mediterraneo

This is a nice place to stay.  Very close to the beach.   Rooms are comfortable, breakfast was amazing, staff was welcoming.  Pool was very nice.  It was not busy when we were there.  It is a larger hotel than it looks and is very refreshing and relaxing areas.

Great Hotel in Castelldefels

We were looking for a quiet place to recover from jet lag after arriving in Barcelona and Hotel Mediterraneo was perfect. We were at the end of busy summer tourist season so things were very quiet, in the hotel and  Castellldefels, which was perfect for us. Hotel is a great location just across the road from the beach and boardwalk with lots of choices for restaurants. We loved our second floor balcony and the room itself was functional if a little dated. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a vast selection of items and a nice outdoor seating area around the pool. Pool area was nice as well but the pool was not heated. The gym was ok with basic equipment but as it was down in the basement and there was a funky smell which was not pleasant. Staff was efficient but not overly friendly. Overall great stay especially if you are trying to avoid the chaos in Barcelona.

Good bed, clean room, nice to have the boiler to be able to make tea or coffe, very good brekfest with lot of fruits.
Close distanse to see, and the train station.
Castelldefels is the very quiet place for rest and close distance by train to Barcelona

One week holiday

Room was excellent. Windows can be opened. Early April with good weather but still a little cool. Why is it they hotels insist on heavy comforters even in a moderate climate? Quiet, room was on the ocean side. Train and bus within blocks which was very helpful. They had good bicycles for rent-cheap. Restaurant was excellent and beat everything on the streets. Breakfast buffet was beyond amazing.
