This hotel is located on an island 136km from Velana International Airport, Malé, and can be reached by a 40-minute seaplane journey.

Rooms

The resort is made up of luxurious Beach Villas with stunning ocean views, as well as Family villas and Water Villas. All villas are air conditioned and come with a satellite TV, in-room safe, hairdryer, minibar (extra charge), free Wi-Fi, tea and coffee making facilities and a private decking area for lounging in the sun.

Water villas come with added luxuries, including a Balinese bed and private Jacuzzi outside on the deck.

Just a heads up, if you're booking one of the Beach Villas for three adults and one child, then be aware that two adults will have to share a bed with the child, and the other adult will have to stay in the single bed!

Food & Drink

The resort's main restaurant, Jaafaiy, serves buffet-style international dishes with live cooking stations. There are also three à la carte restaurants on the island: Sufura, an authentic Indian restaurant, Café Mass, a pizzeria and street food restaurant and Thavaa, serving Mediterranean cuisine, tapas and healthy dishes. The resort's four bars, including a chic pool bar, will keep you refreshed throughout the day. All inclusive meals and refreshments are served at a range of restaurants and bars throughout the island. These guests can also benefit from a selection of mini bar refreshments (at no extra charge) and additional room amenities, such as flip flops and beach bags.

Sports & Entertainment

Between the hotel’s sparkling outdoor swimming pool, lush green gardens and pristine white sands, guests will be sure to find their own slice of heaven in the Adaaran Select Meedhupparu Resort. Activities on offer include beach volleyball, tennis, table tennis, badminton and a range of water sports such as snorkelling and scuba diving (extra charge). There is also a state-of-the-art spa for those looking to be pampered, as well as a fitness suite for those who just can't sit still, even in paradise! A live band offers evening entertainment and beach parties are hosted on the island. For families with little ones, there is a kids' club available so that the children can enjoy island life whilst the parents relax. For an experience to remember, why not head out on one of the excursions (extra charges apply) offered by the resort, including a sunset cruise, sunrise fishing, island hopping and dolphin watching.

Transfers to the Maldives hotels are from Male International Airport via either domestic aircraft, seaplane, or speedboat. Luggage allowance varies depending on transfer type:

• Domestic aircraft (20kg hold luggage and 5kg hand luggage)

• Seaplane (20kg hold luggage and 5kg hand luggage)

• Speedboat (No luggage restrictions)

Immediately upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by either airport or hotel staff, who will escort you to your transfer departure point, and will be on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding transfers and timings. Please note that other flight arrivals or sudden changes in weather might mean you need to wait up to 3 hours before boarding the transfer.

If you’re travelling via seaplane, flights can only operate between 09:00 and 15:00. If you land in Male after 15:00, or if there are any sudden weather changes, you’ll need to stay overnight in an airport hotel. Don’t worry – if this is the case then we’ll be in touch to make the arrangements. It’s also worth noting that, like most holiday transfers, seaplanes will stop at multiple resorts on the way.
