Location
Get comfy but not too comfy because its just a 20 minute drive from Venice Marco Polo Airport(VCE) to the Piazzale Roma docking point! From here you can hop right onto the vaporetto or hail a water taxi for an additional 40 minute glide through the water to get to the San Zaccaria stop, which is then a short stroll to the hotel!
See the bets of Venice on foot! You'll be a 5 minute walk from the famed Piazza San Marco and a further 5er will get you to the Ponte di Rialto! Have you even been to Venice without a picture on the bridge to prove it!?
Not much of a walker? Well if you can manage a 5 minute walk to the San Zaccaria docking point you can hail a water taxi or gondola and leisurely get anywhere within the floating city!

Food & Drink
Breakfast - Don't have to worry about brekkie, the hotel's got you covered! Head on over to the continental buffet for as much scran as you can handle or, if you don't fancy the queues you can get brekkie delivered straight to your door!
Luna Sentada - A few steps away from the hotel, this local hotspot is one of the city's best kept secrets! With a seal of approval from the local scene and the insta-worthy dishes that feature local, seasonal ingredients in a menu built on robust and full-proof Italian cuisine! Pro tip: Ask for the seasonal Venetian specialty!
Wine Bar 5000 - The local watering hole, in the Castello district - right by the canal and with an extensive list of organic Italian wines. As with any good wine bar, there is a curated selection of picky bits on offer ranging from cold cuts, cured meats, cheeses & fruit and of course, cicchetti! Especially recommended in the afternoons!
Sports & Entertainment
Dalmatian School - Disclaimer: Not associated with Disney villain Cruella De Ville or her Dalmatians. What you can expect to find in this intimate studio with muraled ceilings is art, by Vittore Carpaccio - a prominent figure in the development of Venetian art during the 16th century (or the early renaissance for the art geeks out there!)
San Zaccaria Church - This grand megastructure is worth a visit for the imposing façade alone, whether religious or not its grandiose is undeniable! Venture inside and you'll find the widely photographed painting “Sacra Conversazione” by Giovanni Bellini. If anything its worth visiting for the acoustics alone, make sure you don't whisper any secrets in these walls - they listen and talk!
